Festival menu

All our food is vegetarian and mostly vegan, our aim is to serve generous portions of great quality authentic Indian dishes using top quality ingredients which are preferably locally sourced, organic and fair trade.

Breakfast

Vegetable Kedgeree – Spiced rice with spinach, green lentils and peppers, served with a chapatti and topped with fresh coriander and a boiled egg. (Vo, GF)

Lunch/Dinner

Thali - 3 Curries (a dhal, a seasonal vegetable or paneer curry and sambar) Chapatti, Poppadom, Basmati Rice, Cucumber and mint raita, Corriander and onion salad and Lime pickle (curries change daily). (Vo, GFo)

George’s Korma – Aubergine, red pepper and cashew nut korma with basmati rice and a chapatti. (V, GFo)

Mixed vegetable curry with basmati rice and a chapatti. (V GFo)

Poppadom and pickle tray – 6 poppadoms served with Mango chutney, lime pickle, coriander and onion salad, chilli pickle and cucumber and mint raita. (Vo)

Kathi roll – Roti bread filled with spiced chickpeas and peppers, topped with cucumber and mint raita, dressed cabbage and a coriander and onion salad. (Vo)

Large Vegetable Samosa.

Crusty walloper – A whole banana in a sweet and spicy batter served with honey, syrup or Belgian chocolate sauce. (V)

Drinks

Mango lassi – Mango and yoghurt smoothie.

Masala Chai – Sweet spiced Indian tea.

Whole earth Organic Cans.

Fair trade tea, coffee, hot chocolate, herbal teas.

Orange juice.

Water.
